• First time subscribers are usually discount hunters and not profitable. You pay money for ads & you're trying to drive first time subscribers. They are likely going to cancel after the first order. 
• Now what you should do here is give them less of a discount on their first order and incentivize the second order where more profit is made because you already paid back your CAC.
